  1. SETTING UP GUILTY BASTARDS
  2. --------------------------

  4. To set Guilty Bastards to run under Windows 95/98/NT, the easiest method is
  5. just to make sure that the files
  6.  
  7.     Guilty Bastards.bat
  8.     hewin.exe
  9.     guilty.hex
  10.     GBDATA
  11.     GBMUSIC
  12.     gb.ico
  13.     
  14. are installed in the same directory.  (The default directory is
  15. "C:\Program Files\Guilty Bastards".)
  16.  
  17. Then, run "hewin.exe" via Explorer or the File Manager.  Simply type 
  18. "guilty" in the Filename space and click Run.

  20. (Alternatively, a batch file called "Guilty Bastards" is also provided,
  21. which you can just doubleclick directly to start the game.)

  23. More advanced users can create a shortcut to start Guilty Bastards directly
  24. using the command line "hewin guilty", with the working directory set to the 
  25. install directory (i.e., "c:\guilty" or wherever it was installed).  A nifty
  26. little Guilty Bastards icon is included in the file "gb.ico".
